Festival Rules
Eligibility
Type of Work: Montage Film Festival accepts all types of film works, including but not limited to feature films, documentaries, short films, animations, experimental films, etc.
Production Time: The entries must be completed in recent years, and the specific years are subject to the official announcement each year.
Originality: All entries must be original and must not infringe on the copyright or portrait rights of others.
Submission Requirements
Submission Method: Participants must submit their works through the online platform officially designated by Montage Film Festival (such as FilmFreeway, etc.).
Submission Materials: Including but not limited to film files, scripts (if applicable), introductions to the director and main creative team, film posters, stills and trailers (if any).
Language Requirements: Works with non-English dialogues must provide English subtitles or French subtitles (depending on the specific rules).
Deadline: The specific submission deadline will be announced on the official website of Montage Film Festival each year, and no submissions will be accepted after the deadline.
Selection Criteria
Creativity and Narrative: The creativity, storytelling ability, plot construction, etc. of the work will be evaluated.
Technology and Art: The film's photography, editing, sound effects, visual effects, director's skills and actor's performance will also be important considerations for the selection.
Social and Cultural Value: The social significance, cultural connotation and audience resonance conveyed by the work will also be included in the selection scope.
Awards Setting
Montage Film Festival will set up multiple awards based on the type and performance of the entries, including but not limited to Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Photography, Best Editing, Best Sound Design, Best Visual Effects, etc. At the same time, special awards may also be set up to recognize innovative and socially influential works.
